The Voodoo Keller / Chelmsford Brew Co Summer 10k trail run
About the Event
Brewery Runners Unite: A Night of Fun and Fellowship Join us for an evening filled with camaraderie, scenic routes, and a touch of local charm. The entry fee includes a refreshing drink at the Brewery checkpoint and another upon your triumphant return to Voodoo Keller Bar. For 2026, we're excited to introduce finishers medals as part of this year's event. The race begins in an unconventional setting: runners must navigate their way out of the basement area within the Voodoo Keller Bar before embarking on a journey through the city’s vibrant streets and historic landmarks. The route follows a GPX/Strava path, offering participants a guided experience with a narrative to enhance your run. One highlight is the tap room at the brewery, where you’ll receive an essential beer token upon arrival. This checkpoint has been expanded this year, allowing runners to stay as long as they wish until the last finisher completes their pint and exits the premises. Public transport options are plentiful, making it easy for participants to reach Voodoo Keller Bar from various parts of town. Buses, trains, bicycles, hire scooters, or even walking routes can get you there conveniently. If driving is your preferred method, local car parks within a two-minute walk offer ample space. Registration opens at 18:30 inside the bar, and the race kicks off promptly at 19:00. Remember to be cautious of the steps leading into Voodoo Keller Bar as you cross checkpoints throughout the evening. Upon crossing the finish line, head straight for a well-deserved drink and collect your medal from the bar staff. Don’t forget to hand over your race number to claim your beverage at the conclusion of this unique running event. For those interested in commemorating their achievement with custom merchandise, visit our store at to order a 2026 brewery run T-shirt. Brace yourself for an unforgettable night out and immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of this fun-filled event. Please note that non-TRA/EA members will need to pay £2 upon registration. This amended date ensures there are no conflicts with work commitments, allowing everyone a chance to participate without worry.
