Tim Horton's Night Run 2026 returns to Bert Weeks Gardens in Windsor, Ontario on August 15th for its fifteenth year as a community event supporting Youth Mental Health Services.
Bert Weeks Gardens is situated at 3875 Main St in the heart of Windsor. On race morning, runners and families gather along the tree-lined pathways leading up to the starting line under the shade of maple trees. The atmosphere on the morning of August 15th will be a blend of excitement and anticipation as participants prepare for their run or walk.
Since its inception in 2012, Tim Horton's Night Run has grown significantly, with thousands participating each year. This year’s event aims to continue raising funds and awareness for mental health services within the community. The race offers both adults and kids a chance to contribute positively through running or walking distances of either 5km, 1km, or even shorter at 200m.
The course venue is Bert Weeks Gardens, where participants will navigate a looped path designed to be accessible for all ages. The surface is a mixture of gravel and paved pathways, providing a smooth yet challenging run as runners make their way through the gardens. Notable features include sections with gentle inclines and flat stretches that offer scenic views.
On race morning, the start line at Bert Weeks Gardens will see participants lined up on Main St near the entrance to the park. The finish area is just steps away, where volunteers will distribute medals and refreshments provided by Tim Horton's and Boston Pizza. Aid stations are strategically placed along the route for hydration needs. Bib pickup takes place at the Windsor Event Centre on August 14th from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM or on race morning between 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM, where participants need to bring a printout of their confirmation email. The starting point is located at Bert Weeks Gardens.
