Valley Park Tour of the Woods

Immerse yourself in the serene beauty of Valley Park and Knightwood for this distinctive 10 km race, organized by Chandler's Ford Swifts Running Club alongside Liam Newton Physiotherapy. The course is divided into five stages, each ranging from a half-kilometer to three kilometers, offering runners brief rest intervals between segments that do not count towards their overall time.
Participants can look forward to competitive prizes for the fastest finishers and an engaging post-race celebration with a BBQ and cake at both the start and finish lines. The event is open to all over 18 years old this year, though plans are in place to introduce a kids fun run in 2026.
The race route weaves through a mix of woodland trails and local roads, providing an enjoyable challenge for runners while supporting conservation efforts with donations directed towards the Woodland Trust. Live chip timing by Emit Timing ensures accurate results, and event headquarters is conveniently accessible via foot, bike, or train.
