Entry fees are £6 for members of the Orkney Athletics and Running Club (OARC) or Scottish Athletics Federation (SAF), while non-members can enter for £11; however, those who join OARC on race day can secure their spot at a discounted rate of £8. This annual event is sanctioned by SAF, ensuring that all participants adhere to the sport's governing regulations. The course itself is not suitable for wheelchairs or runners with buggies and pets due to its challenging terrain.
