Summer Open Water Swims at Dock 9, Salford Quays
Dive into the refreshing waters of Dock 9 this summer for open water swimming sessions tailored to both seasoned swimmers and newcomers. Located on the picturesque waterfront of Salford Quays (M50 3AZ), these swims offer a unique blend of exercise and scenic beauty.
For Bronze and Squid members, pre-booking guarantees you entry at a discounted rate. Non-members also have the option to secure their spot ahead of time for peace of mind. While walk-up participants are welcome, they will need to pay an 'On The Day' fee if spaces remain available.
Safety is paramount during these swims; ensure you bring your own tow-float or hire one at the venue to enhance visibility and security in the water.
Throughout May through August, sessions run on Saturdays from 8-11am and Wednesdays from 5-7:30pm. As summer transitions into autumn, Saturday swims continue but shift to a later morning slot of 10-12pm starting September onwards.
Last entry is permitted up until 15 minutes before the scheduled end time for each session.
